Worthy Joseph "Joe" Cottrill

Worthy Joseph "Joe" Cottrill, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at home with his wife Kathy, family and friends by his side, with special mention of friend Jeff Derr, who prayed by his side with Pastor Stephen Kimbrel of North Industry Christian Church after "hanging tough" with his courageous battle. Joe was born on February 02, 1956 in Orrville, Ohio to Edward F. Cottrill and Emogene V. (Carson) Cottrill. He is survived by his loving wife Katherine Marie and his step sons Nicholas and Matthew; siblings Edward C. Cottrill , Pamila & Raymond Masters, Richard & Dale Cottrill, Tim and Christina Cottrill, with special blessings & thanks to Christina, who helped take care of him during his time of need. He also has numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother Leroy A. Cottrill. Joe was owner/operator of Worthy's Vinyl Siding. He took pride in his work. He also was employed by R.B. Stout Inc. He loved watching wrestling and playing horseshoes and cards with family and friends. He loved reading his bible as well as talking about it with whomever would listen to him. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Newman Cemetery- 11155 Orrville Street NW, Massillon, OH 44647 at 11 A.M. Pastor Stephen Kimbrel officiating.
