Woodrow Wilson Wagner, of Massillon, died Saturday afternoon at Rose Lane He was 97. He was born on October 19, 1913 in Massillon to the late Edward and Ellen Clark Wagner. He married Julia E. Ingold on June 5, 1948 and she preceded him in death on March 21, 1995. Woodrow was a member of; St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, American Legion, VFW and the Knights of Columbus #554. He worked as a machine operator at Ekco retiring in 1982. He served in The Civilian Conservation Corps in Montana and was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army . He is survived by; 5 daughters; Mary Ellen & Gregory Jackson of Perry Township, Katherine C. & Jeffrey Regula of Perry Township, Elizabeth A. & Mark Tully of Jackson Township, Theresa M. & Brett Oaks of Mechanicstown, Veronica R. & David Langman of Canton, two sons; Earl E. & Nancy Wagner of Jackson Township, James E. Wagner of California, 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Irene Swihart . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 10:00 AM , Rev. Fr. William Kraynak, celebrant. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Military Honors will be held graveside. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
