Winifred G. Hill

Winifred G. Hill, age 86 of Massillon, passed away peacefully at her daughter, LaDonna Gail Parson's home early Sunday morning, October 21, 2012. She was born in Cambridge, Ohio on April 11, 1926 and was the daughter of the Thornton and Chloe (Robinson) Niswonger. She was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple and had participated in the Jolly Sixties and Sunshine Group. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Hill, her brothers Oscar Niswonger, Bill Niswonger and Donald Niswonger, her sisters, Bessie Grimes, Virgil Jones, Naomi Blackford, Ruth Kirkbride and Gail Bates and her great grandson Kippy Lee Parsons. She is survived by her daughters, LaDonna Gail (Timothy) Parsons and Chloetta J. Rosenstein, her sons, Don R. Hill and Billy J. Hill, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Massillon Baptist Temple with Pastor Johnny Elbert officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
