Wilma Lindsay, age 88 of Lawrence Township, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010. She was born on January 13, 1922 in Massillon the daughter of Robert and Annie (Davis) Lindsay. She was a lifelong resident of the area and worked at the Ohio Edison Company, retiring after 40 years of service. Wilma was a member of Newman Baptist Church. She enjoyed knitting, embroidering and traveling. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Lindsay and Richard Lindsay. She is survived by her brother Floyd (Lois) Lindsay of Massillon; her sister-in-law Margaret Lindsay of Massillon; her nieces and nephews, John (Janet Squire) Lindsay of Broomfield, CO, Ken (Donna) Lindsay and Karen (Jeff) Kilgore both of Massillon, Robert (Kay) Lindsay of Orrville, Thomas (Janie) Lindsay of Silver Lake and David and Ann Lindsay both of Massillon; 8 great-nieces and nephews and 5 great-great nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Newman Baptist Church. Pastor Dennis McDonald will be officiating. Burial will follow at Newman Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
