Wilma H. Brand

Wilma H. Brand, age 81 of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center. Wilma was born on October 23, 1929 in Beatrice, WV to the late Brackie & Laura (Cunningham) Moore. Wilma was a homemaker and lived in the area most of her life. She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary #190 and St. Barbara Catholic Church. Wilma enjoyed crocheting, baking and gardening. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Brand in 2010 and her sisters, Betty Raber, Emogene Secklovic, Lola Mae Christopher and infant sister, Alice Louise Moore. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children Willa (Michael) Hamilton of Las Vegas, NV, Gary (Vicki) Brand of Winter Garden, FL, James (Soonok) Brand of Akron, OH, Karen (Richard) Randles of Massillon, Michael (Lillian) Brand of Elyria, OH and Thomas (Cheryl) Brand of Massillon; 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; her brothers, Lester (Florine) Moore of Akron, Charles (Rita) Moore of Louisville and Denver (Jean) Moore of New London, OH; her sister, Juanita Martin of Vermilon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Massillon. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
