Wilma G. Dice, age 94 of Canton, formerly of Massillon, died Thursday morning at the Canton Christian Home. She was born on October 8, 1911 and was the daughter of the late Elijah & Minnie (Kocher) Smith. She was a lifelong area resident. She had been employed as a secretary with the Canton Construction Council and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Wilma was born and raised in the Richville area. She graduated from Massillon High School in 1929. She was a wonderful mom and homemaker and was an avid gardener. She and her late husband Raymond loved golfing, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Along with her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Dice, daughter Lila Haley, one sister and four brothers. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Carol L. and Robert F. Ray of Leesburg, FL, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Kubichek officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 – 11:00 A.M.
