William Thomas Moore

William Thomas Moore, 74, of Massillon, passed away on April 3, 2019. He was supposedly born on June 5, 1944 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Homer and Mary (Sapp) Moore. Bill drove trucks for Teamster and retired after 25 years of service. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially nature and driving heavy equipment which was a skill he mastered over the years. Bill also liked to attend auctions on a regular basis and was known for having a joke or two. Most importantly, Bill was a family man. He loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even children that weren’t his own. He always treated everyone with the same love and respect. He will be deeply missed by his children Janet Bennett, Joy (Anthony) Watts, William (Monica) Moore, Kenneth (Barbara) Moore and Andrew (Cassie) Moore; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; the mother of his youngest son, Darlene Moore. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Moore and one brother Raymond Moore. A service honoring Bill will be held on Tuesday, April 9th at 6 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
