William M. Stonestreet age 82 of Jackson Twp. passed away Monday February 13th. Bill was born June 23, 1923 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late William & Mary (Glasscock) Stonestreet. He attended the University of Marquette and graduated from the University of Missouri. Lt. Stonestreet served in the US Navy from 1940-1944 as a aircraft fighter pilot. Following WW II, he began a career with Hallmark Cards untill 1953. In 1954 he joined American Greetings Cards and retired as vice president of sales in 1998. Mr. Stonestreet married the former Maxine Meeting in 1954, she was the love of his life. They spent their retirement years traveling, square dancing and taking care of their yard. Maxine passed away October 12, 2005. He is survived by: Brothers & Sisters in Law Mary Lou & Bill Jenkins Jr. of Massillon Lois & Jack Meeting of Green Nieces Marilyn & Gary Prato, Carolyn & Don Mehl, Michele & Harry Mosher, Jackie & Bill Stanton, Shelley & Don Manley, & Lori Jenkins Mr. Stonestreet will be buried with a family graveside service at Brookfield Cemetery.
