William K. Edwards

William K. (Bill) Edwards Born August 14, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio to William and Lorette (Winters) Edwards. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Barbara; Son, Robert (Denette) Edwards of North Canton; Daughter Robin (Darik) Miller of Toledo with four grandchildren: Caden, Camden, Avery and Corbin, which he loved so dearly. His brother, Doug (Kathy) Edwards of West Chester, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was a graduate of Zanesville High School 1965. He then attended Heidleberg College, then graduating from Pittsburg Institute Mortuary Science in 1970. Bill was a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Bill worked for Batesville Casket Company for 10 years. Bill and Barb then purchased and operated The Corner Store in Perry Heights for 14 years, then retiring. During this time, Bill was past President of the Perry Heights, Kiwanis Club and past Board Chairman of The East Central Food Dealers Association and was a member of Clinton Lodge #47 Massillon, Scotch Rite of Cambridge, Shrine in Columbus. Bill was an amazing Friend, Brother, Father, Uncle, (Awesome)Papa and Husband. His energy and zeal for life was contagious as he made a friend with everyone he met. We are forever enriched with experiences and moments that we will remember forever and cherish. We love him dearly and know that he is in a better place, free of pain and we know we will once again see him again to share a cocktail, story and a visit. In lieu of flowers, Bill would prefer you take your family out and enjoy them, or you can make a donation to Aultman Compassionate Care Center in Canton, 2821 Woodlawn Ave. NW, Canton OH 44708. Family will receive visitors Monday, December 2, 2013 from 4:00pm to 8:00p. A celebration of Bill's life will take place at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home.
