William H. Mcfee

June 24, 1928 — January 22, 2011

William H. McFee On January 22, 2011, God called me Home. Now surrounded by loved ones who’d gone before me, I remember…. I was born on June 24, 1928 in Canton and grew up in Dresden, Ohio. As a teen, my family moved to Beach City where I met my beautiful wife, Marjorie (Stidd) who survives me and with whom I shared 63 years of marriage. Together we had four wonderful children who also survive me: Gary (Donna) McFee, Sharon (Jody) Bolitho, Maureen Kay McFee and Debbie (Dave) Harrower. I was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Jeni (McFee) Zartman, Matt McFee, Shelly (Gesen) Hershberger, Amy (Bolitho) Glenn, Amanda (Tully) Lloyd, Kimberly (Gesen) Rambaud, Molly (Bolitho) Kale, Scott Tully and Michael Prinz and 13 great-grandchildren. My wife, children and grandchildren were everything to me as were my many nieces and nephews. I was preceded in death by my parents, Mike and Pauline (King) McFee, sisters, Pauline Bice and Beverly Tully; brothers, James McFee, Jerry McFee and 2 great-grandsons. I am survived by a sister, Betty Secrest and two brothers, Robert McFee and Ronald Smith. I was a devoted fan of the Cleveland Indians, enjoyed fishing and camping, but my passions were spending time with family and friends, bowling and gardening. I loved making my grandchildren giggle, growing the “best” tomatoes around and bowling a “300”! A service to celebrate my life will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. David Kimberly officiating and with burial following at Brookfield Cemetery. My family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-8 P.M. and on Thursday one hour before the service. Memorials may be made in my name to either the American Heart Association, 4682 Douglas Circle NW, Canton, OH 44718 or Community Hospice, 201 W. Third Street, Dover, OH 44622. And now I bid you not “goodbye”, but “until we meet again”. Thanks for the memories. Paquelet – A Golden Rule Funeral Home 330-833-3222
