William G. Kincaid, age 71 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday evening at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. William was born on September 7, 1934 in Summersville, WV to the late Irvin and Icie (Williams) Kincaid. He is a United States Army Veteran. William retired form Republic Steel in December 1994 following 38 years of service as a welder. He was an avid coon hunter and gardener. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Opal Williams, and a brother, Damon Kincaid. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Tanner) Kincaid, with whom he would have celebrated 44 years of marriage on July 18, 2006, Daughters and sons-in-law; Elaine and LTC. David Chase of Ft. Benning, GA, Karen Kennard of Massillon, Christine and Larry Graber of Brewster, son Steven Kincaid of Brewster, brothers; Irvin “Chub” and Robert “Bobby” Kincaid of Summersville, WV., grandchildren; Christopher, Jarred and Andrew Chase, Seth and Shelby Kennard, Cathryn and Kyle Graber and Kelsey Kincaid. Funeral services celebrating William’s life will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM at Zoar Baptist Church in Summersville, WV. Calling hours will be Friday 4-6 PM at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon and 1 hr prior to the services on Saturday at the church in Summersville, WV. Interment will take place at Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
