William G. Curry

William G. Curry, 61, of Canal Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Bill was born on November 21, 1952 in Canton, OH, the son of the late Stanford and Laurabelle (Fuller) Curry. Bill was a self-employed carpenter with many hobbies, including: listening to and playing music, attending concerts and auto races, watching Cleveland Browns football and socializing with his many friends. He also had a great love for kids and was known for his big heart once you got past the tough exterior. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his step-sister, Sandy Wish. He is survived by his son, Shane T. Curry of Hilliard, OH; step-brothers Butch & Curly Gill, and step-sisters, Cookie Davis & Susie Jackson; and numerous cousins, nieces & nephews. A Celebration of Bill's life will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
