William F. Murray, 62, of Massillon, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Massillon on December 23, 1950 to the late Jack and Mary (Paolucci) Murray. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army and was a welder, working for NFM Welding Engineers until his retirement on April 22, 2013. He was a member of Faith Community Fellowship Church, where he was involved in the praise band. He was also a member of AA and founded an AA chapter at his church. Bill loved playing his guitar, music, traveling, gardening and his family. Bill is survived by his wife, Penny Schonauer Murray, whom he married on December 24, 2003, three children, Victor Murray, Kellie Murray and Stephanie (Josh) McPeak, two step-children, Steven Schonauer and Scott (Jenni) Schonauer; seven grandchildren, Vincent, Shawnie, Kendall, Halle, Kacey, Peyton and Maddie; three brothers, Tom Murray, Sean Murray, Mike Murray; five sisters, Sheila Torre, Gloria Holman, Cindy Haley, Kate Warren and Bridget Belloni. A Celebration of Bill Murray's Life will commence at Faith Community Fellowship Church in Massillon on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00PM. His Pastor and dear friend, David Kimberly will officiate. A private burial will take place at Brookfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Blessing Fund at Faith Community Fellowship Church.
