William F. Bill Budner

William F. 'Bill' Budner age 72 of Massillon passed away Wednesday at his residence. He was born July 10, 1933 in Navarre to Frank & Elsie (Bair) Budner. Bill was raised in Canton and was a 1951 graduate of Timken High School. During the Korean Conflict Bill joined the US Navy and served on the USS Valley Forge in the Pacific. In 1957 he and Barbara moved to Perry Heights. In 1998 he retired as manager of V & V Appliance in Canton. He was a member of Faith Community Fellowship Church, Promise Keepers and East Ohio Emanuel Emmaus. Bill was an avid fisherman, and kept everyone's appliances in repair. Those who knew him were greeted with a big hug and God Loves You'. Barbie was his life and he adored his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. His father Frank preceded him in death. He is survived by: Wife Barbara (Yeary) of the residence with whom he shared 49 years of marriage on June 3rd. David Kimberly will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would appreciate memorials to Stark County Hospice or East Ohio Emanuel Emmaus Walk.
