William Daniel Frick, age 80, of Canton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born in Irwin, Pennsylvania on March 27, 1942, to parents Roscoe and Mary (Clohessy) Frick. Bill graduated from Norwin High School in 1960. He attended Point Park College where he received a degree in accounting. Bill began his career in the accounting department at J.C. Penney’s and later moved to Ashland Oil. Due to his people skills, a mentor urged him to try sales and that’s where he found his niche-working at Ashland Chemical as a salesperson and district manager for thirty years. Bill was an avid golfer and member of The Sanctuary Golf Club for many years. He was also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He thoroughly enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and his family, friends, and loved ones. His grandson Brennan’s voice and visits also brought an instant smile to his face and joy to his heart. He is survived by Marilyn Frick, mother of his children; his son, Christopher (Stephanie) Frick and daughter, Leigh Ann Frick; grandchild, Brennan Frick; long time partner, Jodene Brendle; three brothers, Roscoe (Vivian decd.) Frick, Jr., Steven Frick, and Richard (Becky) Frick; two sisters, Laulie (Dave) Kaiser and Rosslyn (Phil) Lemon. He is preceded in death by his father, Roscoe H. Frick, mother, Mary E. Frick, and brother, Tom Frick. We would like to thank Aultman Compassionate Care for making dad's last few days as comfortable as possible and to Frank Orzeck for you're never-ending care and friendship you showed Dad. Your daily actions taught all of us the meaning of friendship. A private Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date. We urge any who want to celebrate Bill’s life to take someone to lunch, buy them a drink, and listen to what’s on their mind. He’d like that a lot. Paquelet Funeral Home & Crematory (330) 833-3222
