William D. Giblin

William D. "Don" Giblin, 87, of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. Don was born on August 8, 1934, in Akron, Ohio the son of the late Patrick and Dorothy Giblin. He was retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked on the Goodyear blimps. Don was a huge fan of baseball. He loved his dogs and cats. Don enjoyed working with his hands creating model space ships and boats. He also loved ice cream and coffee and an occasional beer. He was also a former member of the Massillon Moose Lodge #481. His pride and joy were his grandkids and great-grandkids. He is survived by his children, Margie (Tim) Grant, Debbie Haines, Jim Giblin, John (Cheryl) Giblin, Tom (Stephanie)Giblin, and Kathy (Doug) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Michael Shaheen, Jeremiah Shaheen, Emily (Kim) Shaheen-Parr, Dustin (Nicole) Shaheen, Daniel Rohr, Jessica Rohr, Shelby (Jim) Lundenberger, Holley (Jon) Kanos, Hailey Giblin, Ashley Kreiling, Erica (Jeremy) Machan, and Colwyn Zimmerman; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret; brother, George Giblin; and daughter-in-law, Michele Giblin.
