William "Bill" H. Hrabak, age 79, passed away on July 30, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 05, 1943 to the late Joe and Alice Hrabak. He was a 1961 graduate of Maple Heights High School. Bill served in the U.S. Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life Beverly M. Brannan on November 22, 1967 and they shared almost 56 years together until his passing.
Bill retired in 1999 as Foreman from the Ford Motor Casting Plant (Foundry) in Brook Park after 22 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking, remodeling and loved the Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. Bill was a family man and enjoyed spoiling his wife and daughter. Bill was an avid animal lover, especially his grandpup Ollee. He never met a stranger and enjoyed talking to people. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 55 years to Beverly; his devoted daughter of Julie (Tony Confalone Jr.) Hrabak; his grandchildren Dominic Confalone, Anthony (Kelli) Confalone II and great-grandfather of Enzo Confalone; his sister Sally (William) Pappalardo; his sister-in-law Virginia (late brother of Joseph Hrabak) and brother-in-law Robert Brannan of California. Bill is survived by his nieces and nephews Joe (Linda) Hrabak, Kevin (Kelly) Hrabak, Debbie (Dennis) Kopacz, Bridget (Scot) Hildebrandt and Denise (Jim) Hearn; many great-nieces and nephews and a great-great nephew.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Eaton Estate Community Center - 8314 Eaton Dr., Sagamore Hills, Ohio 44067 at 2p.m. The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm and after the service we will be having a small luncheon with finger foods.
