William F. Adkins-Cutlip, 79, of Massillon, OH went home to be with the Lord Friday March 26, 2010 at his residence with his loving wife Mary Kay at his side. He was born April 12, 1930 in Weirton, West Virginia the son of the late William Shirley Adkins-Cutlip and Jessie (Lutz) Martin. William was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1947 to 1949. He was employed as a truck driver, and drove for Simon’s Furniture, Humes Trucking, and most recently for Tri-State Auto Parts. After retiring William drove for Meals on Wheels, and also provided transportation for senior citizens. He enjoyed music especially playing the organ. His hobbies included flying model airplanes and he belonged to the Prop Spinners Club. He attended Reedurban Presbyterian Church. Surviving William is his wife of thirty years Mary Kay (Vantilburg) Cutlip whom he married September 15, 1979; six children William “Cut” (Marta) Cutlip of Weirton, W.VA, Cathy (Bill) Staudacher of Mingo Junction, OH, Thelma (Gary) Anthony of Toronto, OH, Charles Cutlip of Wheeling, W.VA, Bobby Vantilburg of Fayetteville, NC, and Katie (Lloyd B.) Hinson of Canton; thirteen grandchildren Jessica Elizabeth, William, Roy, Pachain, Deysen, Timothy, Joseph, Kenneth, Elizabeth, Tristan, Paige, Stephan, and Isaiah; seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Elizabeth Ann (Boggess) Cutlip, and mother-in-law Beatrice Vantilburg. A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 7th at 2:00 P.M. at the Reedurban Presbyterian Church. Friends may call from 1:00 until the time of the services.
