Willa Mae Brown

Willa M. Brown, 90, passed away on February 12, 2022 following an extended illness. She was born in Massillon on October 5, 1931 to the late Eddie and Emma (Feagin) Kirkland. Willa worked many years for Perry Rubber, Multi County Juvenile Attention Center and Massillon City Schools. She was also a Foster Parent for twenty years, fostering over forty children. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church for thirty years. She is survived by her children, Regina Willis, Jacqueline Earley, Joseph (Cheryl) Martin, Jr. and Denise Mitchell; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Richard Kirkland. Willa was preceded in death by her son, Steven Brown; siblings, Bertha Miller, Eddie, Seaser, Freddie, John and Lucius Kirkland and Mattie Long. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 10:30am-11:30am at Shiloh Baptist Church, Massillon with a Home Going Celebration to be held at 11:30am, Rev.
