Wilbur J Adams

Wilbur J. Adams, age 90 of Jackson Twp. passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 09, 2018. He was born in Navarre, OH on December 18, 1927 to the late Myron and Hilda (Heater) Adams. Wilbur was a 1946 graduate of Navarre High School. He married Nancy Gonzalez on May 12, 1951. Wilbur was employed as an Industrial Engineer for Republic Steel for 33 years until his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, building furniture boating, water skiing and watercolor painting. Wilbur was the most loyal, kind, caring and loving person. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 67 years; his children Bradley (Joy) Adams, Pamela Lahm, and Wendy (William) Faust; his grandchildren Brooke (Mark) Watson, Michael (Jessica) Adams, Colin Faust, Hannah Faust, Morganne Faust (Alicia Graber) and Alexandra Lahm; 4 great-grandchildren; his brothers Edward Adams and Graydon (Judi) Adams and his sister Elizabeth Lash. Wilbur was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Richard Adams and sisters Mary Mayers and Darlene Clark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Christ the Servant Parish at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Canton at 10A.M. Monsignor Lewis Gaetano officiating. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 from 5:30 - 7:30pm.
