Wilbur G. Roush, 89, of Massillon, died Wednesday morning at Legends Care Center following an extended illness. He was born on February 22, 1922 in Fredricksburg to the late Charles and Rose Oberlin Roush He had worked for Harn Vault Co .retiring in 1998 and served in U.S. Army during WWII. Wilbur was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ and VFW Post # 3124.He loved Bingo, camping at Charles Mill Lake and crafting. He was known for his tissue boxes and bingo holders. Wilbur was a practical joker and had a happy go lucky disposition. He is survived by: two sons; Franklin E and Julie Roush of Stedman, North Carolina, Kenneth J. and Mae Roush of Canton, daughter, Darlene M. and Tom Shively of Massillon, 3 grandchildren; Bryan Shively, Crystal Griffith, Jennifer Lesko, 2 step- grandchildren; Shane Burns, Carrie Cline, 7 great-grandchildren; Peyton, Ella, Michael, Breanna, Darrin, Olivia, Maddie , half-brother, Larry Roush of Florida and step - sister, Edna Nelson of Florida He is preceded in death by his wife M. Alice Maurer Roush and a half sister, Nellie Wentzel. Friends may call at the Paquelet and Arnold-lynch Funeral Home 2 hours prior to a funeral service at 2:00PM on Friday, December 2, 2011 conducted by Rev. Jeffrey Shultz. .
