Wayne E. Gallion Sr., age 72 of Massillon, passed away on November 17, 2018. He was born in Massillon to Mary Elizabeth (Still) and the late Bernard V. Gallion Sr. He was a graduate of Washington High School. Wayne married Judy Hahn on September 27, 1980 and they shared over 38 years together. Wayne served his country in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked as a Laborer at Timkin Roller Bearing until his retirement. He enjoyed Bowling, Gardening, Cooking, Coaching Midget Football, being with his friends at Moose Lodge 481 and loved watching his Cleveland Indians, Pittsburgh Steelers, Ohio Buckeyes and most especially his Massillon Tigers. He will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. Wayne is survived by his wife Judy Gallion; his children Crystal (Robert) Murdock, Julie (William) Gallion-Haggerty, Morris (Donna) McCullough, Renee’ McCullough, Wayne Gallion Jr., Heather Gallion, Liz McCullough; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; his mother Mary; his brothers Dean (Cathy) Gallion, Bernard (Laura) Gallion Sr., Timothy Gallion Sr. and his sister Tina Peterman as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his son Jacob Gallion; his father Bernard Gallion Sr. and his brothers Thomas Gallion Sr. and Dale Gallion Sr. A Celebration of Wayne’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Captain Keith and Katie Jache of the Salvation Army will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10a.m. until the time of the service.
