Wava C. Lintner

Wava C. (Shanklin) Lintner, 88, of Massillon, passed away on July 4, 2014 at Hennis Care Center in Bolivar, Ohio. She was born on November 26, 1925 in Massillon to Grover and Kreith (Kisner) Shanklin. They along with 8 siblings preceded her in death. Wava graduated from Navarre High School. She had worked as a cook at the Navarre V.F.W. and was a member of the Ladies Auxillary. She attended Holy Family Parish. She is survived by her sons, Richard L. Lintner and Mitchell R. (Helen) Lintner, her grandchildren Hyla Bennett, Britt Flaten and Brian Lintner and her great grandchildren Trinity, Gabriel and Owen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish with burial following at Dalton Cemetery.
