Warren Thomas Eckroad, Jr. , 88, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2017, following a brief illness. He was born in West Lebanon on November 20, 1928 to the late Warren T. Eckroad, Sr. and the late Margaret (Lemmon) Becherer. Warren was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of Sixteen St. John’s Church. He was also a member of Lodge 430, F& AM, A.A. A.S.R, Valley of Canton, Tadmore Shrine, Past District Deputy Grandmaster of The Grand Lodge of Ohio, District 21 and was an Honorary member of the Order of Kentucky Colonels. He loved to golf and hunt, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Helen “JoAnn” (Doll) Eckroad , whom he married on October 20, 1952; their three daughters, Jo Ellen Eckroad, Jill (Jerry, Jr.) Hartmann, and Joan (Brian) Galant; four grandchildren, Jared, Matthew, Alyssa and Alina; and three sisters, Betty (LeRoy) Schumacher, Gloria (Jim) Krichbaum and Karen (Jim) Hamilton. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm, and on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 9:30 till the time of the funeral service at 10:30am in the funeral home.
