Warren C. Ritter

Warren C. Ritter, 80, of Massillon, passed away at The Inn at University Village surrounded by his family on Friday morning, July 13, 2012, following an extended illness. He was born in Fredricksburg, on June 4, 1932 to the late Elmer & Josie (Davidson) Ritter. Warren received his Associates of Arts Degree in Business Management from Stark State College. He worked at Beltone Hearing Aide Company as a Salesman, retiring in 1994. He was a lifetime member of the Tigertown Boat & Ski Club and was a former member of the Clinton Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons. He is survived by his two daughters, Bonnie (Phillip) Gonter of Canton, Joanne (Mark) Tipton of Massillon, his son, LaVerne W. "Butch" (Jane) Ritter of Alpharetta, GA, six grandchildren, Gina (Kyle) Bowers, Amanda Tipton, Erin Tipton, Christine Ritter, Allison Ritter, Laura Ritter, and sister-in-law, Lillian Ricosky of Canton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene J. Ritter, whom he married on Feb. 9, 1957 and she died on Feb. 13, 2011 and a sister, Nedra Maxim. His wishes were to be cremated.
