Wanetta Rogers

Wanetta Rogers, age 73 of Massillon, died on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on January 1, 1939 in Calhoun County, WV and was the daughter of the late Cecil and Nellie Sampson. Wanetta retired from Heinz Foods in Massillon following 27 years of service. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurl Rogers, daughter, Rose Rogers, her brothers, Delmar, Wesley, Bill and Bernard Sampson and her half sister Florence Rogers. She is survived by her children, John (Virginia) Rogers, Carolyn Talkington, Gearl (Sandy) Rogers, Ronnie Rogers, Tony (Lisa) Rogers, Gary (Joellen) Rogers and Cheryl, Rogers. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and her brother George Sampson. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 P.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home.
