Wanda Midgley

Wanda Midgley, age 67, of Massillon ascended into the arms of God Wednesday January 27, 2016, with her family at her side. Wanda was born June 15, 1948, in Gulfport, Mississippi, to Robert and Peggy (Roth) Myers. She was a graduate of Kenmore High School and the University of Akron. Wanda channeled her love of God and country as an accomplished Communicator for InfoCision in both the religious and political divisions. She always found the good in everyone, and her religious faith inspired those around her. In addition to her parents, a brother, Keith Myers, preceded her in death. Wanda is survived by her husband, Thomas Midgley, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. They have two children: Frank Midgley of Canton and Emily (Matt Riley) Midgley of Brecksville and two grandchildren who had become the light of her life, Sophia and Colin. She leaves three siblings: Robert (Peggy) Myers of Akron, Peggy (Don) Richards of Akron, and Rebecca (Steve) Moore of North Canton. A memorial gathering is planned for Saturday, February 6, at 2:30 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with calling hours at 1:00 PM.
