Wanda Mae Mason

Wanda Mae Mason passed away in Springdale, Ohio on December 31, 2014. She was born on November 11, 1930 in Hartville Ohio to Roscoe and Lavinia (Keller) Himebaugh. She graduated in 1948 from Hartville High School. Wanda married William Mason in 1952 and raised three daughters. Wanda was a dedicated member of First Christian Church in Massillon for over 40 years where she held several offices including trustee, president of women's fellowship, president of hospitality, and deaconess. Bill and Wanda owned and operated Mason Appliance Center for over 37 years in Massillon OH. Wanda is survived by three daughters – Marsha (Terry) Frech of West Chester OH, Melinda Finnin of Canton OH, and Margie (Bob) Hayes of Loveland OH; four grandchildren – Bill and Samantha Christie, April Remson and Amber Finnin; one great grandchild, Lexi Remson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years William Mason, her brothers, Ross and Raymond Himebaugh and sister, Ruth Morrison. Friends may call January 7 from 9AM until the service at 10:00 AM at Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon; with a luncheon and burial to follow. Burial will be at St. Jacob's Cemetery in Cairo, Ohio.
