Wanda Joy Dudley

Wanda Joy Dudley, 73, of Canton, went home to be with Jesus Christ Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 10:32 a.m. Wanda was born on December 2, 1948, in Mansfield, the daughter of the late Cornelius and Maxine (Maddox) Gomez. She was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. Wanda worked for Bethany Nursing Home for 12 years. She was a hard worker. Wanda loved her Lord and Savior. She attended New Life Church in Massillon. She took pride in her appearance. Her joy was getting her hair and eyelashes done. Wanda loved spending time with her family and keeping people together. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosia Brooks, Patricia Gomez, and Gwendolyn Lindsay. She is survived by her children, Malcolm X. (Amy) Dudley, Clifford Dudley, and Montez Gomez; a host of grandchildren; brother, Cornelius Gomez, Jr.; and sister, Regina Gomez; and a host of nieces, nephews, and close family. A Home Going Celebration will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
