Walter M. ‘Mitch’ Hall age 51 of Canton Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday due to heart related issues. He was born September 2, 1959 in Canton to the late Walter Lee & Velma (Street) Hall. Mitch was a 1977 graduate of Canton South High School. Walter was a loving husband, father and dearest friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carol (Long) Hall, two sons Robert (Katrina) Hall of Woodsfield and Walter Lee Hall of Canton; two brothers Richard (Tammy) Hall of Perry Twp. and Robert Lee Hall of Canton, two sisters, Linda (late David) Mugrage of Perry Twp. and Becky Zehnder of Canton; four grandchildren, Shawn, Austin, Logan Straw and Bridgette Hall, and numerous nieces and nephews. With his passion for golf at Spring Valley Country Club and his loving family Walter’s way of life was unique amongst itself with a personality and sense of humor like no other. A good heart and a loving hand he was willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed grilling out, eating at Wendy’s with his best friend Louie Edwards, loved going to Carol’s Auction in Waco and collecting coins. Family meant the most to Walter, he provided for his family the best way possible with lots of love. Funeral service will be 11 AM Tuesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Burial will be at Melscheimer Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 PM Monday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
