Walter Gail Karrenbauer

Walter Gail Karrenbauer, age 74 passed away on December 29, 2015. He was born in Massillon on January 02, 1941 to the late Walter Karrenbauer and Katherine (Perritt) Rambo. He was a 1959 graduate of Washington High School. He married Diana Davis on October 05, 1968 and they shared over 47 years together. Gail worked as a Machine Operator at Timken for over 35 years until his retirement. In his spare time Gail enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards, especially Blackjack, but he loved spending time with his family, watching his children and grandchildren play sports. Gail enjoyed working on cars, especially his 1962 Corvette. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Walter (Kristen) Karrenbauer, Scott (Courtney) Karrenbauer, Stacie (Jason) Crites and Chad (Marci) Karrenbauer; his grandchildren Allison, Megan, Kaitlyn, Cade, Emerson, Carson, Madyson, Jaylynn, Callan and Gable; his sisters Leann (Paul) Appel and Dawn (David) Hunstman as well as a host of friends. A Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 04, 2016 at 11a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday January 03, 2016 from 6 -8p.m. and 1 hour before the service. Burial at Rose Hill Memory Gardens. www.paquelet.com
