Walter ‘Bill’ Allshouse age 91 of Massillon passed away Thursday at Hospitality House. Bill was born September 12, 1916 in Brookville, PA to the John I. & Pearl (Geist) Allshouse. He served in the Army Medical Corp during WW II. He was a graduate of Kent State University with a degree in mechanical engineering. Bill had operated several service stations in Massillon until opening Supersonic Car Wash on First St. NW., until 1985 when it was sold. Bill was a member of the former Christ United Methodist Church in Massillon for 52 years. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Avanelle (Himes) Allshouse, a son Durwood (Linda) Allshouse, four grandsons, Dan, Mark, Mike and Chris, six great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.
