Wallace “Wally” Brugh Jr., age 75, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 10, 1943 in Massillon to the late Wallace Brugh, Sr. and Eleanore (Ross) Brugh. He married Ann Crawford on June 20, 1960 and they share 58 loving years together. Wally was a member of the 1959 and 1960 Massillon Tiger State Championship Football Teams and graduated from Washington High School in 1961. Wally was a Security officer for the Timken Company retiring after 35 years of service. He was an Eagle Scout; and a scout leader for many years. He served in the Air Force and was a member of First United Methodist Church, Clinton Lodge #47, where he served as Secretary, Scottish Rite - Valley of Canton, The Massillon Shrine Club, Massillon York Rite -Hiram Chapter #18 and Massillon Commandery #4. Wally leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ann; his son, Gerald W. (Sherri) Brugh; daughter Tammy Moye; his grandchildren Clayton, Derek, EmmaLeigh, LeeAnna, Melanie and Eleanore as well as a host of nieces, nephews and life-long friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Kristiann and his sister Beverly Singletary. A Celebration of Wally’s life will be held at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service.
