Vivian J. Nyheim

Vivian J. Nyheim, age 87 of Canton, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at Hospitality House. She was born on November 20, 1927 in Tuscarawas County and was the daughter of Ernest and Beatrice Shonk. Vivian was a graduate of McKinley High School and drove for DD. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Stacy and Steven Nyheim and two grandchildren, Jeffrey Nyheim and Crystal Drew. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ordell Nyheim, her sons, David Nyheim and Ron (Dixie) Nyheim, her daughters, Susan (Michael) Finsel and Diane (Ed) Makowski 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren A service to commemorate the life of Vivian Nyheim will take place on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6-8 P.M. Memorials are suggested in Vivian's name to either the Stark County Humane Society or Stark County Developmental Disabilities.
