Virginia Spencer

M. Virginia Spencer passed away unexpectedly on June 4th 2011. Virginia was born March 3, 1934 in Walker West Virginia to the late Martha and Harvey R. Farnsworth, Sr. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, John R. Spencer of Massillon, daughters Susan D. Spencer of Minerva, Sabrina K. Spencer of Akron, and son and daughter-in-law John R. Spencer II and Tammy M. Spencer of Euclid. She also leaves behind siblings Harvey R. Farnsworth, Jr. (Judy), Ann Stroud, George (Linda) Farnsworth, Carolyn (Roger) Butcher, and was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Farnsworth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. Virginia loved taking care of her home and gardens but most of all loved being with her family and friends. She loved to laugh, could tell a great story, and was the best friend anyone could ask for. She will be missed for her giving heart and infectious laughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9th at Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. Calling hours will be from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday June 8th and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Internment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
