Virginia 'Pat' Richardson

Virginia 'Pat' Richardson, age 81 of Massillon went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2015. Pat was born March 2, 1933 in Akron to the late William & Mary Lou Murphy. A loving wife, mother and grandmother. Virginia would have said, " I have fought the good fight and finished my course. I have kept the faith". All will remember her faith in God and love for family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Michael Richardson. She is survived by her loving husband Walter Richardson Jr. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on September 4, 2014. They have four children: Toni (Ray) Johnson of Canton, Joy Richardson of Lawrenceville, GA, Troy Richardson and Jackie (Edward) Dudley. There is a surviving sister and brother: Bernice Richardson and William Murphy Jr. There are eleven grandchildren, Jamil, Malik, Chace (Adrianna), Eboni (Ken), Maria, Ciara, Andrew, Marcus, Alyssa, Troy "Guy" and five great grandchildren, Shantel, Tre'von, Kennedy, Kingston, Khia. Also survived by in-laws, Barbara Hill, Reggie (Cheryl) Richardson, Ruth Rodgers, Victoria (Ski) Lawler, Trennie (Renee) Richardson and a host of relatives and friends. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Christopher Chow, Dr. Dina Rooney and Dr. Brian Simmons. A Homegoing Celebration will be 1 PM Saturday at Greater Bethel Apostolic Church.
