Virginia M. Colangelo

Virginia M. Colangelo, age 77 of Jackson Township, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at Affinity Medical Center. She was born on March 2, 1932 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Rocco and Congetta Ceraolo. Virginia was a lifelong resident of Stark County. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Amalio “Mario” Colangelo in 2005. She is survived by her children, Ginette (John) Kolbl of Medina and Ricardo (Victoria) Colangelo of Jackson Township; her grandchildren, Ryan (Carmie) Colangelo, Lindsay (Robert) Roth, Stacey Colangelo, AnnMarie Kolbl and Joseph Moore; her great-grandchildren, Lucarie Dorsey, Emily Roth, Rylee Colangelo, Mario Colangelo, Noah Roth and Baby Elise Roth due in November; her siblings, Carmen (Sandra) Ceraolo, of Louisville, OH and Nancy (Jim) Blackstone of Canton, OH. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Fr. Raymond Paul will be Officiating. Entombment will follow at North Lawn Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to Perry Sippo Branch of Stark Co. District Library.
