Virginia L. “Ginger” Spangler, age 70 of Massillon, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Wooster Community Hospital surrounded by her family. Virginia was born on September 1, 1939 in Moundsville, WV the daughter of James L. and Ann (Grant) Fisher. Ginger lived in Massillon most of her life. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing Keno and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Fisher. She is survived by her children, Scott W. Spangler, Zoey L. Gloden and Clay E. Spangler; her grandchildren, Keeley Kandle, Zachery Adams, Blaze, Whitney, and Cole Spangler; her great-grandchildren, Gaige, Kennedy and Adyson; her mother, Ann (Grant) Fisher; her siblings, James L. Fisher, Jr., Robert D. Fisher, Guy E. Fisher, Jacqueline (Gyulia) Petyovszki and Carolyn E. Fisher and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to any First Merit Bank in Virginia’s name to help with expenses.
