Virginia L. Rogers, 65 of Massillon, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2017 at her residence following a lengthy illness. Virginia was born on July 28, 1952 in West Plains, Missouri the daughter of Nathan Jefferies and Mary Ellen (Rhoads) Stewart. She was a 1970 graduate of Chippewa High School. Virginia was employed at H.J. Heinz Frozen Foods for over 36 years. She enjoyed riding her Road King Harley Davidson, making fudge, crocheting, sewing, playing Feeding Frenzy on the computer, and most importantly spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Nathan Jefferies, sister, Sally Starling, and brother, Nolan Jefferies. She is survived by her husband, John Rogers whom she married on August 12, 1979; her children, Jennifer Halter and Brian (Lisa) Falls; mother and step-father, Mary Ellen (Richard) Stewart; grandchildren, Brandon, Logan, and Rylan Halter, and Kiersten and Collan Falls; brothers and sisters, Ken Jefferies, Phoebe (Allan) Fletcher, Sandy Rogers, and Rick (Penny) Rhoads; and numerous other family members.
