Virginia J. Anderson

Virginia J. Anderson, age 91 of Massillon, passed away on Monday. January 25, 2010 at the Hanover House. She was born in Noble County, Ohio on March 27, 1918 and was the daughter of the late Emmett and Mary (Williamson) Fry. Virginia was a member of the Massillon Baptist Temple and was a homemaker. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Biry L. Anderson, her brothers, Clifford, Willard and Ray Fry and her sisters, Ollie May Fry, Catherine Walters, Irene Moore and Florence Walters. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Carol May and Larry Schran and Janice and Richard Rohr and her son Thomas Anderson all of Massillon, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and her sister Mildred Wilkinson of Massillon. Services will take place on Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Rev. W. Jay Dolvin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Those who wish may make a contribution in Mrs. Anderson’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
