Virginia Dale Cottrill

Virginia D. Cottrill, 57, of Dalton, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on April 14, 1960 in Crescent City, Florida to Mitchell and Myra (Hudson) Rousey. Virginia married Richard Cottrill on October 1, 1982. They shared 34 loving years together. She was an avid reader of history novels and loved being outdoors, especially if she was fishing or swimming. If the sun was shining was Virginia was outside. Virginia will be deeply missed by her husband, Rick; children Tiffany (Michael) Phillips, Ricky Cottrill and Michael Cottrill; grandchildren Noah, Kenna, Kayden, Lexi, Ailyn Rose and Chase. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Sharon Rousey and Kenneth Rousey; brothers-in-law Joe Cottrill and Leroy Cottrill. At this time no services are planned. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd. NE, Massillon, Ohio to help defer the cost of funeral expenses.
