Virginia A. Geisinger

Virginia A. Geisinger, age 83 of Massillon, died on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Rose Lane Health Care Center. She was born on June 2, 1930 in Richville, Ohio and was the daughter of the late George and Goldie (Porter) Matthews. Virginia was a 1948 graduate of Washington High School and was a proud member of the Tiger Swing Band. She loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to play cards and bowl. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David J. Geisinger, her brothers, George, Bill and Eddie Matthews, her sister Dorothy Maier and her half brother, Jack Merriman. She is survived by her children and their spouses, David G. and Jeri Geisinger and Amy and Jeff Gatsios, her grandchildren, Aaron (Amanda) Geisinger, Jana Geisinger, Justin Geisinger, Claire Gatsios and Leah Gatsios, her great grandchildren Aaden and Anderson Geisinger and her sister Janet (Bob)Elavsky A service to celebrate her life will take place on Friday at 1:00 P.M. with Rev.
