Violet 'Vi' M. Price

Violet “Vi” M. Price, age 68 of Massillon, our dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away unexpectedly on Friday at Affinity Medical Center – Massillon Campus. Vi was born on January 13, 1940 in Massillon to the late Robert and Birdie Bulman. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Gaddis in 1980; sisters, Virginia Wadian and Hazel Blosfield; brothers, Robert, Henry, Floyd and Ronald Bulman. She is survived by her husband, Jay H. Price, with whom she just celebrated 26 years of marriage on August 3, 2008; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert (Tiffany) Gaddis, John (Teresa) Gaddis and Bryan (Sandy) Gaddis all of Massillon; daughter and her fiancé Christina Weston (Jim Rook) of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Linda F. (Don) Finley of Massillon, grandchildren, Robbie, Ryan, Casie, Katie, Randy, Timothy, Justin and Kayla; great grandchildren, Callie, Ellie, J.J., Ciearra, Tyler and Caleb. Funeral services celebrating Violet’s life will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon with Pastor Demetri Mittas officiating. Calling hours will be Monday (TODAY) 6:00 – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday. Interment will take place following the services at Brookfield Cemetery.
