Violet M. Tilton

"TOGETHER AGAIN" Violet Marie Tilton, 78, of Perry Township, passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Violet was born on July 26, 1942, in Canton, the daughter of Homer H. and Mildred I. (Boyd) Smith. Violet graduated from Perry High School in 1960. Her graduating class was the first class to graduate from the new high school building. Violet was a school bus driver for Perry Local Schools and retired after 28 years of service. She and her family raised cattle. Violet loved looking out at her cows from her window. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry R. Tilton in 2008. She is survived by her children, Maria Tilton and Pat (Sheri) Tilton; grandchildren, Cole Tilton, Shelbi (Andrew) Chafin, and Curtis Smith; and great-granddaughters, Addilyn and Francesca.
