Violet Fay Kraft

Violet Kraft, age 90, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012. She was born on January 9, 1922 to the late Charles T. and Leona M. (Hoobler) Little in North Industry, Ohio. She married Ivan Kraft and they were together until his passing on December 23, 2007. Violet worked for a number of years as a waitress at The Malted Milk Shop in Canton. In later years she was homemaker. She was a diehard bingo enthusiast for many years, She will be remembered for her quick wit, colorful stories and love of family. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Erickson, and Roger (Gail) Kraft; 5 grandchildren Eric and Jeff Gleespen, Jodie Sulski, Brian and Michael Kraft; 4 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and her faithful feline companion, Choo-Choo. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brothers Carl and Kenneth Little and her sisters Elva Dettinger and Bess Latimer. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Saturday, July 28, 2012 with the Rev. Dale Calloway officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park.
