Viola Bacon, age 93 of Massillon, went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was born on May 15, 1918 in Harlan, KY and was the daughter of the late George and Polly (Fee) Napier. She was a Massillon resident since 1945. She was a member of Massillon Church of Christ and had volunteered at local hospitals, the American Red Cross and was a poll worker for many years. Viola was also was employed at the former Ross Dry Cleaners. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Bacon in 1993 and 8 siblings. She is survived by her daughter Billie (Al) Braz, her son George (Joyce) Bacon, her grandsons, Carl (Karen) Eisenbrei, Jr., David (Cathy) Eisenbrei & Stephan (Cindy) Bacon and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with Evangelist Glenn Hawkins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery in Navarre. Viola's family wishes to extend special thanks to the Church of Christ family for the love and concern and to AlterCare of Nobles Pond for their wonderful care and love.
