Vincent Dornhecker

Vincent Dornhecker age 82 of Massillon passed away Thursday August 12, 2010 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born January 20, 1928 in Massillon to the late Linus & Harrietta (Borrell) Dornhecker and lived here all his life. He served in the Army during World War II. Vince retired from Massillon Steel Castings and was a custodian for the Massillon Board of Education. He was a member of Wesley Methodist Church and a life member of McKinley Rifle & Pistol Club, Ohio Rifle & Pistol Club and the NRA. In addition to his parents a brother Donald Dornhecker preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jeannette (Stankovich) Dornhecker; they have two children: Terry (Sheri) Dornhecker of Bolivar and a daughter Patt (Shannon) Thompson of Indianapolis, IN. There are three grandchildren: Stefanie Ward, Casey Dornhecker and Jacob Dornhecker. A service for the family was held at their convenience.
