Vietta June Mayle

Vietta June Mayle, 81, of Massillon, passed away on April 3, 2025. She was born in Canton on January 28, 1944 to the late Roscoe and Emma Mayle.

In addition to her parents, Vietta was preceded in death by her beloved husband Floyd Mayle, baby daughter Paulette Irene Mayle, son Gregory Lewis Mayle, grandsons William Raymond Johns and Dylan Scott Johns, granddaughter Jordyn Lee Hukill, brothers Everett, Barton "Bob", Larry, Donnie (Becky), sister Evelyn, son-in-law Bill Johns; brothers-in-law Carl Newman and Larry Newman; sister-in-law Ellen Mayle.

Vietta is survived by her loving daughters Sandra Johns and Evelyn (Jay) Hukill; daughter-in-law Kim Mayle; grandchildren Brandon Johns, Sean (Andrea) Johns, Nicholas Johns, Jered Hukill, Jacquelyn Hukill, Alyssa (Nathan) Williams, Andrew Hukill, Dustin Mayle, Danielle (Mike) Bailey and Tara (Gary) McCartney, Jamie Butzer and Kristy (Eric) Jackson; granddaughter-in-law Amanda Johns; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; siblings Hubert Mayle, Diane Newman and Bonnie Newman; sisters-in-law Susan Mayle and Brenda Mayle.

Vietta loved celebrating Christmas, and her grandkids referred to her as "Mrs. Claus".

Family and friends are invited to visit at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Friday, April 11th from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., when the funeral service will begin with Pastor Kevin Northup officiating. Interment to follow the service at Sunset Hills Burial Park, where Vietta will be laid to rest with Floyd.
