Veronica Nemeth passed away in Orlando, FL on July 18th, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Gregory & Mary McNulty of Chicago, IL. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph William Nemeth and her son Joseph Timothy Nemeth. Born in Chicago, she and her family moved to Massillon when she was a baby. She later enlisted in the Women’s Auxiliary Army Corps and became the first WAAC from Massillon, proudly serving her country for 3 1/2 years. After WWII, she returned home and married the love of her life, Joe Nemeth. They were happily married for 42 years. They had two children, Tim and Kathy. Tim married Carolyn (Madison) and they had one daughter, Mary Margaret ”Maggie”. Veronica and Joe were the owner/operators of Patsy’s Floral Shoppe for over 42 years. She especially loved creating wedding floral arrangements. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church for more than 50 years. Following Joe’s death, she moved to Orlando where she lived with her daughter Kathy for the past 18 years. She is survived by Kathy, her daughter in law Carolyn of Frankfort, KY and her beautiful granddaughter Maggie of Louisville, KY. Veronica will be cremated and be buried next to her husband in the Veteran’s Memorial Garden at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
