Verneda E. Harding, 92, a resident at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Dalton, died on Friday, June 3, 2011. She was born in Baltic, Ohio in January 7, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Barbara (Huprich) Domer. Verneda was a member of Sixteen St. John’s Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clair Rudy, Ernest Weick and Delmar Harding, her brothers, Ralph, Harvey and Wilbert Domer and her sisters, Rosa Shaffer and Viola Domer. She was also preceded in death by step brothers, Jasper and Woodrow Hoopingarner and step sister Viola Miller. She is survived by her children; Melvin E. (Janet) Rudy of Massillon, Wanda J. (Jay) White of North Lawrence, Donna M. (Paul) Snyder of Dalton and Charles E. Rudy of Navarre, 7 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren, and her step brother Robert Hoopingarner of Freeport, OH. A service to celebrate her life will take place on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. A private burial will follow. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. The family suggests memorials be made to Crossroads Hospice of NE Ohio, 3742 Boettler Dr. Suite E, Green, OH 44685.
